Ordering your Thanksgiving turkey: We highly recommend you plan ahead and pre-order your holiday bird as early as possible, as we often sell out.
Cooking your D'Artagnan turkey: Keep in mind that depending on several factors, including: size of bird, oven calibration, type of cookware used, recipe variations, and method of cooking, time and temperature will vary. We recommend the use of a meat thermometer, instant-read, or digital when gauging doneness.

What size do you need? If you prefer to have no leftovers, we recommend that you estimate 1-1.25 pounds per person to determine the size of turkey you will need. (For example, 8-10 pounds will yield 6-8 servings). Or, if leftovers are why you cook a turkey in the first place, then plan on at least 1.5 pounds per person.
Our exclusive Green Circle turkey is raised by a network of small Amish and Mennonite family farms in Pennsylvania and certified by Humane Farm Animal Care. This unique program emulates the common sense, waste-nothing philosophy of days past when poultry lived on vegetable scraps and roamed freely around farmyards and pastureland.
The turkeys eat a diet that includes clean surplus vegetables from local markets - bruised, cut or otherwise unattractive vegetables - along with gluten-free grains like corn and soy, from the farm's own mill. These surplus vegetables are saved from going to landfills, so not only do the birds benefit from the vegetable diet, but it makes sense for the environment too.
Green Circle turkeys enjoy more than twice the barn space required to be considered free-range, they have access to the outdoors and the ability to forage naturally. The birds are hand processed in a low-volume facility near the farms where they are raised.
