Grilled fresh halibut with apricot glaze
Created by our founder, Dan "The Lobster Man," this amazing grilled fresh halibut with apricot glaze is a perfect summer meal. Enjoy with a good beer or light bodied white wine.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. fresh Halibut, skin on
- 2 tablespoons of your favorite apricot jam, peach works as well
- Lobster Gram Dipping Blend seasonings, or your favorite fish seasoning
- Olive oil
Directions
- Heat your grill to medium, about 425 degrees. Feel free to use your stove if you don’t feel like grilling or its raining.
- Next mix the apricot jam with a tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Don’t make it to watery.
- Rub olive oil on both sides of the fish to prevent it from sticking. Pour your apricot mixture on the flesh side of the fish and then sprinkle seasonings on top.
- Make sure the grill is pre-heated and add the fish skin side down. Cook for 4 minutes. Using a large spatula flip the fish over and cook for an additional 90 seconds to bake the apricot mixture onto the fish.Serve immediately.
