Wild Alaskan King salmon, also known as Chinook, are the largest of the five Pacific salmon and are highly favored for their rich flavor and high oil content. They are sustainably hook and line caught – a rarity as only 10% of all Alaska salmon is caught this way – in pristine fishing grounds of Southeast Alaska. Each fish is handled individually with the utmost care, and cleaned immediately after being caught, processed, and frozen at the peak of freshness. The small fishing company was founded by a salmon activist and two fishermen who were equally passionate about protecting the salmon runs and the jobs that rely on them. There is nothing at the grocery store that touches this salmon for quality and transparency. King salmon wears the crown when it comes to long-chain omega-3 DHA and EPA content. These fatty acids are essential to our health and are the most studied, beneficial, and readily usable fats for the human body.
